Our Skin Clinic

As an all-female team, we understand the importance of naturally beautiful looking skin; and we want to be able to assist you in attaining the fresh-faced beauty that comes from having skin that is well looked after and maintained. For this reason, the Aesthetic Doctors and Skincare Specialists work together closely to maintain a science-based, yet luxurious aesthetic skincare clinic.

When you arrive at Dr Nerina Wilkinson – SKIN for a consultation, highly trained Skincare Specialists will make use of the Visia Skin Analysis device to help determine the state of your skin and to guide them in considering the treatments most suited to your skin type and concerns. Visia photographic imaging technology can clinically measure surface and sub-surface skin conditions, clearly showing the extent of sun damage, wrinkle development, pore texture, pigmentation problems and UV spots. Using this information your Skincare Specialist will design a bespoke skin care regime to target your specific areas of concern for a more beautiful skin.

Using innovative cosmetic dermatology techniques, our Skincare Specialists are able to target specific skin conditions, such as:

  • Aging
  • Sun damage
  • Pigmentation
  • Acne
  • Scarring

A variety of specialist non-invasive skin therapies are offered at the skin clinic, including Chemical Peels (to improve skin tone and texture) Medical needling (a procedure that stimulates cells to form healthy collagen in the skin), Mesotherapy (targeting specific concerns by injecting individualised formulations into the skin) and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) which stimulates new skin cells and fibroblasts to produce new collagen. We also strongly believe in combination treatments to achieve maximum results. To find out more enquire, about our bespoke skin care packages.

Your skin is something that’s with you from the day you are born, and, as it’s the body’s largest organ, taking good care of it is of the utmost importance. Having beautiful, glowing skin can be a tremendous boost in self-confidence, especially among those who have experienced acne scarring or a difference in pigmentation in any area of the face or body.

More About

TCSI Overnight Facility

At The Cosmetic Surgery Institute, your recovery is taken just as seriously as the procedure you choose to undergo. This is why they strive to provide each of their patients with an incredibly comfortable environment where safety, privacy and recovery are of utmost importance.

The TCSI overnight facility allows you to experience a relaxing space where you can rest and recover from your surgery.

As a plastic surgeon, Dr Nerina Wilkinson entrusts her patients into the safe hands of the specialised staff at the overnight facility who are trained in the recovery of plastic surgery patients. The facility is also fully licensed and accredited; therefore, you are guaranteed the benefits of a medically controlled environment.

The majority of Dr Wilkinson’s patients stay overnight for a minimum of 1 night. However, many patients request to spend additional nights in the facility after experiencing the special care our nurses provide. Often patients initially request to be discharged on the day of surgery due to their responsibility towards their family.

We however feel that a patient’s recovery from surgery can actually cause more stress to the family member who is already taking the responsibility for the care of the household while the patient is recovering. This is why we recommend spending more than one night in our care where we can take care of our patients and their postoperative requirements. You may not want to believe this, but your family can cope without you for a night or two.
