Description
The OptoDerm® Tranexamic Acid Serum helps to block the biochemical cascaded that leads to pigmentation issues. This is achieved by blocking the production of and activity of tyrosinase, the enzyme that leads to the production of melanin. It provides a powerful and specific anti-inflammatory action, inhibiting pigment production in melanocytes. It also calms the skin and helps restore the skin barrier.
How to use:
Use as directed by your skin professional. Use sun protection in the AM. If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Apply after a good cleanse. This serum contains a high active percentage (close to 30%) and is therefore a little sticky when first applied. Apply as thin a layer as possible and allow to penetrate for a few minutes.
