How does the CO2RE Intima Laser work?
The CO2RE Intima Laser is a quick and safe in-office treatment that works by delivering CO2 energy to the vaginal tissue. It is a non-surgical treatment that stimulates the formation of collagen in the region resulting in healthier, stronger tissues. This controlled laser energy is delivered in pulses via a tube-shaped intravaginal device. The CO2RE Intima Laser system also has the added benefit of being able to treat both the internal vaginal and external vulva areas!
Thankfully, there is little to no pain or discomfort and this intimate wellness treatment does not result in you having to take any time away from your work or daily activities. All we ask from patients is to refrain from exercise for 24 – 48 hours and from sexual activity for a week following the treatment to allow the intimate area to heal and regenerate fully.
How often should I have a CO2RE Intima Laser treatment?
Patients receive 3 treatments in total, each spaced one month apart.
