The Dermamelan® Intimate method is a 2-stage protocol:

1. Intensive depigmentation treatment at the clinic, followed by
2. Treatment for home use for a minimum of 30 days post in-clinic treatment

The ME LINE Intimate method is a 2-stage protocol:

1. Intensive depigmentation treatment at the clinic, followed by
2. ME LINE-specific home care after your in-clinic treatment

Compliance with the home schedule is essential to meet the depigmenting objective in the short and long term.

With Dermamelan Intimate, results can usually be seen as early as 1 week post-treatment, the pigment will continue to lift and lighten and the best results are usually observed about 4 weeks into the treatment. With Dermamelan Intimate, usually, only 1 treatment (inclusive of the home care regime) is required to achieve optimal results.

With ME LINE Intimate, results are usually visible after just one treatment, but due to various levels of intimate pigmentation severity, some patients may require a second treatment 30 days after the first treatment.

It’s important to note that individual responses to treatments can vary, and not everyone will experience the same level of improvement. Additionally, some cases of hyperpigmentation may be more challenging to treat, requiring ongoing maintenance treatments or a combination of approaches to achieve the desired results.

DERMAMELAN INTIMATE:

You will leave the clinic and two hours after the in-clinic treatment application, remove the occlusive film applied during your treatment, and take a lukewarm shower to remove the mask. You will then wait 48 hours before starting with the Dermamelan Intimate Home Depigmenting Gel Cream at night for 30 days.

Redness and a sunburned sensation can be expected for 24 hours post-treatment. Tightness of the skin can also be experienced due to possible swelling.

Peeling, dryness, and skin sensitivity have been reported in the few days following the treatment. Once the flaking subsides you will start to notice improvement of the pigmentation and for further improvement and maintenance, you will be required to continue with Dermamelan homecare. Initially, when using your maintenance creams, the skin will feel sensitive, tight and may continue flaking; this usually subsides after about 2 weeks.

ME LINE INTIMATE:

Redness and sensitivity can be expected for 24 hours post-treatment. Peeling, dryness has also been reported in the few days following the treatment.

You will however be required to continue with ME LINE home care after your in-clinic treatment, and will receive instructions on how to apply these specific products in the days following your treatment.

With Dermamelan Intimate, results can usually be seen as early as 1-week post-treatment, the pigment will continue to lift and lighten and the best results are usually observed about 4 weeks into the treatment. The skin will appear even, luminous, and healthy after just one treatment.

With ME LINE Intimate, results take place over time. Over time, the treated skin may appear lighter and more even-toned. Patience is essential, as it may take several weeks or months to see significant improvements.

It’s important to note that individual responses to treatments can vary, and not everyone will experience the same level of improvement. Additionally, some cases of hyperpigmentation may be more challenging to treat, requiring ongoing maintenance treatments or a combination of approaches to achieve and/or maintain the desired results.

ME LINE Intimate:

The cost of a ME LINE Intimate treatment is R 2 600, you will however be quoted accordingly during your first consultation.
