TCA Chemical Peels

A medium-depth TCA (Trichloracetic Acid) peel is a quick, mild downtime procedure that renews the skin by lifting dead cells off the surface of your skin and stimulating the metabolism of the cells underneath.

With a series of TCA Peels, you can quickly achieve substantial improvement in the appearance of superficial lines and uneven pigmentation, while making your skin look and feel softer, smoother, and more radiant. Acne scars and enlarged pores may become less noticeable, and acne breakouts may be reduced.

When it comes to TCA Peel treatments, there are two options available at our practice; the Skin Tech TCA Pain Control peel, and the Mesoestetic Melanoplus TCA peel.

TCA Chemical Peels are clinically proven to target the signs of:

• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Uneven skin tone and texture
• Oily or acne-prone skin
• Enlarged pores
• Superficial scars
• Pigmentation
• Sun damage

Should this be your first treatment at the Skin Clinic, you will be required to complete a medical questionnaire to help guide your Skincare Specialist in selecting the most suitable protocol for you. Your Skincare Specialist will require access to your face, neck, and shoulders, therefore requiring you to get changed into a robe prior to the treatment. The treatment will include:

• Skin surface prep (cleanse)
• Prescribed TCA Chemical Peel application
• Moisturiser application
• Sun protection application

Redness and a sunburned sensation can be expected for 24 hours post-treatment.

Tightness of the skin can also be experienced due to possible swelling.

Peeling, dryness, and skin sensitivity have been reported in the few days following the treatment.

You will however receive post-treatment home care and instructions on how to apply these specific products in the days following your treatment.

After your consultation with the Skincare Specialist, you will be quoted according to the size of the area being treated and the number of sessions required to treat your concerns.

The cost includes a bespoke aftercare pack consisting of relevant product minis to aid the recovery of your skin post-treatment. (Smaller areas will be quoted accordingly).
