Mesotherapy / Skin Boosters

Mesotherapy is a popular, minimally invasive technique using small injections to introduce active ingredients into the superficial layers of the skin, in order to stimulate, feed and regenerate the skin without the damage or trauma that most cosmetic procedures require to activate skin rejuvenation. The most popular indication for mesotherapy is ageing; the skin will appear smoother, softer and more youthful after each mesotherapy session.

FAQ

Is Mesotherapy Painful?

Tiny micro-injections are administered over the treatment site and because the injections are very superficial, the discomfort is minimal. When receiving a more advanced and targeted Mesotherapy treatment administered by a medical Doctor, you may experience mild to moderate discomfort. Once the area has been treated the solution is rubbed into the skin and it is recommended to only wash the face the following morning to allow the solution to penetrate fully.

How Will My Skin Look Straight After a Mesotherapy Treatment?

The treatment area may appear flushed for 1 – 2 hours post-treatment. You may experience a tight, dry sensation for the first 48 hours post-treatment. Mesotherapy is known as a “no downtime” procedure, however, as a result of the micro-injections minimal swelling and bruising could be expected for a day or two after your treatment.

How Many Treatments Do I Need To See Results?

Although you will see an improvement after one Mesotherapy treatment, we usually recommend a course of 6 treatments at 2-week intervals to achieve optimal results. Mesotherapy can be included as part of your usual in-clinic skincare regime.

If you are undergoing a course of treatments involving needling, radio-frequency or laser, it is advised to include the Mesotherapy in-between these treatment as a nutritive treatment to assist the healing, nourishing and collagen-building effects for optimal results.

Who Will Benefit From Mesotherapy?

If you are noticing aged, sagging skin with poor overall texture then Mesotherapy is the treatment for you. Mesotherapy can also assist with various pigmentation disorders when combined with additional depigmentation treatments.

We also see amazing results when treating certain types of hair loss with Mesotherapy in both men and women.

What To Expect From Your Mesotherapy Procedure

Mesotherapy can be done using very short, fine needles to inject actives into the dermis or to inject advanced Mesotherapy formulations which can be combined with your medical needling treatment to enhance results.

The skin condition will start to improve from the very first session and good results may be visible from the second and third treatments. It is important to complete your treatment plan to experience optimal results.
