What Results Can I Expect From A Periocular Brightening Treatment?
Immediate brightness will be seen in the area, however long-term results will keep improving up to 3 months. In some clients we advise the combination periocular skin brightening treatments with periocular Hyaluronic Acid filler injections to improve dark hollows and shadows.
How Often Should I Have A Periocular Brightening Treatment?
The amount of treatments required will depend on the type and severity of your concern, but a treatment plan will be provided to you after you initial consultation. Generally 4 treatments are recommended at 1 to 2 week intervals, but it can be recommended in conjunction with other treatments for optimal results.
What Is The Downtime For A Periocular Brightening Treatment?
Redness can be expected for 3+ days post treatment. A heated
sensation can also be expected for the next 2 days. Tightness of the skin
can be experienced due to swelling and eyes can appear swollen.
Dryness and heaviness of the eyes have also been experienced. Blood
spotting can appear underneath the skin and will resolve in 5+ days.
Dryness and slight skin wrinkling might appear around day 3 after
which flaking usually begins on day 3 and can last for a further 3+ days.
